"Although I’ve only had horses since 2014, I’ve loved them all my life. I will be the first to admit that I am better at equine husbandry than I am as a horse rider. I am here for the horse, not so much for the ‘sport’. My husband and I bought the property now known as High Horse Stables in May 2020. Since then I’ve been trying

Since then I’ve been trying to cultivate a community of like-minded horse owners with a tolerance of disciplines & an open mind for learning from each other along with a knowledgeable, experienced, caring staff. This property/facility is my ‘backyard barn’.
I can work in the arena or I can hack out safely on the path bareback, in a halter. I want everyone who boards here to feel like it’s a second home, & to be able to enjoy it as I do."

I am also the on site trainer at High Horse Stables in Hillsboro, Oregon.
A CHA certified riding instructor with 30 plus years of experience, I have been training horses and riders locally since 2005, beginning with OHSET and 4 H students before expanding to include adult riders as well.
In 2013, I launched Triple C Horsemanship to encompass my growing client base and focus on confidence building for both horse and rider.
My training approach is rooted in safe, practical horsemanship and her guiding philosophy, “It’s about the horse.”
I am proud to be part of the High Horse team and look forward to supporting riders and horses of all levels.

"I am in charge of making every human smile, ....and prefer that they also offer prolific petting sessions.
Perhaps a ball throw session, but, certainly a good scratch!"

There are several other team members who help keep this facility in top shape!
....They were not as interested in showing off their smiling faces.
But, to all of you -
Thank you!
We couldn't do this without all of you!!
